The presenters:

 

Emily Myers
MTSS Director, Orange County Schools, NC

Emily is an accomplished educator with 21 years of experience in education, including: classroom teaching in grades K-8, Gifted Education specialist K-8, MTSS/PBIS Coordinator, Assistant Principal, Director of MTSS. She holds degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill (2002) and Elon University (2013), specializing in Elementary Education, Political Science, and Gifted Education. She currently serves as a Director of MTSS at Orange County Schools, NC, where she spearheads initiatives for student success, especially in the areas of literacy and using high dosage tutoring with Littera as a strategy.

Dr. Janet Wilson
Senior Vice President, District Solutions, Littera Education

Janet has nearly 40 years experience in education as a classroom teacher, principal,  superintendent and most recently, as Chief of Teaching, Learning & Schools at Montgomery County Schools, MD, which serves over 160,000 students. She holds two Master’s degrees (in Reading and Educational Leadership & Administration), and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership for Culturally Changing Populations. (Linkedin)

 

Whitley Dozier
Senior Customer Success Manager, Branching Minds

Whitley Dozier is a Customer Success Manager at Branching Minds, where she supports district partners in implementing and enhancing their MTSS practice through use of the Branching Minds platform. Prior to this role, she served Cabarrus County Schools for eight years as a teacher, Community Resource Coordinator, MTSS Coordinator and Principal Intern. Whitley is passionate about equity and family engagement in MTSS and is currently working on her doctorate in Organizational Leadership. She holds a M.Ed. in Human Development and Family Studies from UNC Greensboro and a B.A. in Elementary & Special Education from Elon University.
