Through this new partnership, WDE is paying for districts to (1) access the Branching Minds MTSS platform, including technical and consultative support with data implementation, (2) participate in ongoing professional development to scaffold platform implementation and support a streamlined, sustainable MTSS practice, and (3) join a community of MTSS district and campus leaders and educators across the country to collaborate on best practices.

WDE will continue to provide districts with access to WY-View through the end of the ‘23-’24 school year.

The WDE and Branching Minds will work together to upload district rosters, student flags, ACCESS, ACT, WY-TOPP, and WY-ALT data into each district’s Branching Minds platform. Additionally, the Branching Minds Data Implementation Team will work with each district for any additional requested data sets/assessments.

Districts will receive support throughout their onboarding from their Branching Minds Enterprise Customer Success Manager (CSM) and through the Branching Minds live chat feature (under one minute response time!). Districts will meet with their CSM to learn more about the platform and to set goals for their implementation at the start of the partnership. Their CSM will be their guide and internal advocate and will work with them throughout the partnership to make sure they are meeting their platform and practice implementation goals. 

Once districts are successfully rostered on Branching Minds (BRM), all educators gain access to the BRM MTSS Learning Hub. This hub hosts multiple mini-courses on how to launch and use Branching Minds, including “Branching Minds Basics,” “Teacher Role in Branching Minds,” and “Manager Role in Branching Minds.”

All onboarded districts can attend Deep Dive Sessions, conducted in a webinar-style format, lasting 90 minutes each and available monthly. These sessions provide targeted assistance in crucial usage areas within Branching Minds, with a focus on specific aspects such as Behavior, Reports, and Secondary considerations.

Districts will engage in the Launch Series Professional Learning post-onboarding. The two-session Launch Series consists of Session 1: Readiness 101 (2-hour remote session) and Session 2: Implementation 101 (2-hour remote session). Districts have the flexibility to choose sessions from pre-identified dates throughout the school year.

Districts have the flexibility to purchase additional sessions or tailored coaching a la carte. Please review our Professional Learning Catalog for professional learning opportunities available to our partners.

If your district signs up by March 31, 2024, you will be granted a complimentary Infrastructure Development Guide and Protocol for independent use. This package encompasses valuable insights into our cooperative handbook development process, with an estimated value of $11,000.
