Dr. Valerie Parsons has been in education for 26 years in the areas of Reading, English Language Development, RTI, and MTSS. After seeing statistically significant improvements in learning outcomes associated with MTSS framework implementation, Valerie is now dedicated to helping districts and schools achieve similar success- and recognizes Branching Minds’ technology as an integral piece of the implementation puzzle!

Laurel Dickson

Director of MTSS, Richardson ISD, Texas

Laurel Dickson is the Director of MTSS in Richardson ISD in Texas. Prior to leading the work of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, Laurel was a Section 504 Specialist, a campus RtI coordinator, a behavior specialist, and spent nineteen years as a classroom teacher of English Language Arts and Reading. She was named a campus teacher of the year and Region 10 Texas Middle School Association’s teacher of the year. Laurel is a graduate of Tarleton State University and Southern Methodist University.
