ADA Policy Statement

The Company follows state and federal laws that prohibit discrimination based on disability. The Company is committed to ensuring that we include people with disabilities in all aspects of employment and that they can fully participate in all programs, services, and activities. All employees are directed to comply with the following policies regarding the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA):

  • Discrimination Prohibited: People with disabilities who otherwise qualify may not be discriminated against in any areas of employment, including, but not limited to, job application and compensation procedures, fringe benefits available by employment, and activities sponsored by a covered entity.

  • Limiting, Segregating, and Classifying: Persons with disabilities will not be limited, segregated, or classified in a way that adversely affects their employment opportunities or status.

  • Contractual or Other Arrangements: The Company will not participate in a contractual or other arrangement or relationship that would subject qualified applicants or employees with disabilities to discrimination.

  • Reasonable Accommodations: The Company will make reasonable accommodation to the known physical or mental limitations of an otherwise qualified applicant or employee with a disability, unless it would impose an undue burden. After a qualified individual requests reasonable accommodation, the Company will make every reasonable effort to determine and provide the appropriate accommodation.

  • Publications and Notices: All Company external and internal publications, notices, and communications will use person-first language. This policy will also apply to all alternate format forms of communication, including the use of TTYs.

  • Retaliation and Coercion: The Company will not coerce, intimidate, threaten, harass, or interfere with any individual exercising or enjoying their rights under the ADA or because an individual aided or encouraged any other individual in the exercise of rights granted or protected by the ADA.

The Company is committed to ensuring equal employment opportunity for individuals with disabilities and to removing architectural, attitudinal, and communication barriers. The Company further commits to policies and procedures that encompass integration and inclusion. The Company will inform all employees of their rights of inclusion and recognize the abilities of all individuals.

The Company will make information available to all employees, including the ADA coordinator's name, address, and telephone number.

Employees: An employee with a disability who believes they were discriminated against should contact the Company’s ADA Coordinator at PeopleOps@branchingminds.com. Employees can file a complaint through the regular grievance procedure or with the State EEO Coordinator at the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the state Human Rights Commission at or file suit in federal court. The Company hopes that an employee will seek to resolve all perceived actions of discrimination within the Company.

Potential Employees: Potential employees may report the complaint to the ADA Coordinator, the state’s Human Rights Commission, or the federal EEOC.
