Branching Minds selected by Chicago Public Schools to improve equity through new streamlined MTSS management platform
Branching Minds, the digital platform and national leader on Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI), proudly announces its expansion in Illinois with an exciting new partnership with Chicago Public Schools (CPS), the third largest school district in the United States. This partnership kicked off with the decision by the school board on June 23rd, 2021, to implement the Branching Minds technology coupled with professional training to empower educators in schools across the district to more effectively, efficiently, and equitably support students.
DeSoto ISD looking to implement new strategies to improve educational outcomes for students
DeSoto ISD is looking to take a more holistic approach to teaching its students through a learning model known as a Multi-Tiered System of Supports, the district announced.
The model helps teachers identify students who might be struggling, either behaviorally or academically. The district will use a tool called Branching Minds “to streamline our process to maximize learning so that all students meet individual high-level performance standards,” Kareeme Hawkins, DeSoto ISD interim director of SEL and Guidance said in a news release.
District 65 Implementing New MTSS Tool to Address Needs of Striving Learners
At the March 4 District 65 School Board meeting, Donna Cross provided an update on how the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process is being used in the District’s schools, including how a new cloud-based tool, Branching Minds, is helping teachers use the MTSS process. Ms. Cross is the MTSS Coordinator at the District.
